You mean answers to your own comments, right? As Steve mentioned, Disqus
doesn't seem to send notifications for "root" comments.

I just noticed the disqus integration seems to be done with a "crawler" on
our end. If that "crawler" is faulty and doesn't indicate to disqus the
proper author for each thread, that might explain the problems we have. I'm
having a look.
