that error is something going wrong inside the oracle driver which is wrapped by som WS specific jdbc wrapper.  I would make sure you are using uptodate drivers.

and no, WS tx errors does not (currently) gets more than minor status since IBM WS seem to be so kind to change their behavior between each minor release.
