It does the fix for me.

I could compile and run tests, generate docs including pdf.

However previous patch omitted replacements in tools/src/testsupport/anttest-build.xml and 
tools/src/testsupport/seamtest-build.xml . 

Since the issue is closed I can't upload the new patch.

Also, I haven't a clue what you mean with "prepare-dir-up". Similar expression doesn't appear in the current source.
