The test class should be a junit test class, that would alleviate the need for any kind of "test driver".

"store data" should be irrelevant, no?  What you are reporting is a bug in semantic analysis of the queery, not execution of the query and/or returning results...

the rest should be fine.  I can sort through the rest.
