I get the good old: "Invalid Menu Extension (Path is invalid): org.hibernate.eclipse.launch.LaunchMenuDelegateMenu" and no menu entry.

and yes i run with -clear. The only thing available under Run is the External Tools menu.

Note: the patch you applied actually removes the menu from plugin.xml and only leaves the action in there...is that intended?
