Using the WebSphereExtendedJTATransactionLookup as transaction manager lookup class results in an UnsupportedOperationException being thrown by WebSphereExtendedJTATransactionLookup$TransactionManagerAdapter.getStatus(). This method is called by JTATransactionFactory.isTransactionInProgress().

Would a solution be to have the TransactionManagerAdapter#getStatus method delegate to the TransactionAdapter#getStatus method?
