Even with the WTP version of europa (a fresh download) and a fresh workspace with a single new project, after fiddling around a bit I came across the issue that it would allow me to create a new hibernate console configuration. It pops up for half a second, then it's removed and the error message shown in the screenshot it shown.

The errors of emf might or might not be related - though it's was a fresh workspace and I cannot tell what was causing them.

If the above instructions don't allow you to reproduce this issue, I don't know what else I did differently, as I didn't do much.
My goal was to auto-reverse engineer a MS access database to generate dao and pojo code with annotations.
Maybe - but this is a long shot - it's because I was using the driver sun...OdbcJdbcDriver and it's using the eclipse jdk instead of the sun jdk (which should be configured). If that's the case the error message in the dialog can be improved :)

Feel free to close this issue if it's unreproducible.
