really? it seems related.

by looking at the freemarker template, it doesn't seem to differentiate where things will go. i based this on the javadoc related code. my version of hibernate tools was exporting the javadocs in both the getter and field definition. we're using hibernate search and my coworker tells me that annotations go on the field itself. i figured it would be useful to have annotations on the getter as well, since i was working on it.

as far as opening a new jira... maybe i'll take the time outside of work, i'm sure they aren't too excited that i spent half a day creating this patch and figuring out how do post it on this jira site.
