Diego Plentz commented on HHH-3435:
-----------------------------------

Hardy, I find all just looking at http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/, but probably somebody already saw it.

Agree with apache rewrite+wiki investigation. I could do the wiki part.

I undestand your point, but anyway, when you open the docs, there is a huge version number in the top of it. But ok.

> Organize hibernate online docs
> ------------------------------
>
> Key: HHH-3435
> URL: http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-3435
> Project: Hibernate3
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: documentation
> Reporter: Diego Plentz
>
> Today, we have:
> http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/reference/en/html_single/
> http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/reference/en/html_single/
> I think that we must keep *just* /core (and create a redirect for the old ones, just to keep the links working).
> PS: Must update the docs.
> Another thing,
> http://www.hibernate.org/5.html could be changed to not include the last release version, so, when a new version is launched, we don't need to change the wiki page just to update the version number. So, instead of, for example:
> English (3.2.2 GA) Online HTML Single page HTML PDF print version
> We will have:
> English Online HTML Single page HTML PDF print version
