We've hit the need for this one ourselves, so I've taken the liberty of creating a patch. This includes the new @GenericGenerators annotation, changes to the AnnotationBinder to bind same, a test case in IdTest to make sure that these annotations are bound correctly, and an update to the English-language version of entity.xml to refer to the new annotation.

Hope this provides a bit of help in getting this one completed.
