Clebert Suconic commented on HHH-3309:
--------------------------------------
In a chat with Gail, I bet AbstractLazyInitializer would not be serializable, and its inheritances are. And he confirmed that.
Say if you have this Hierarchy (arrow means inheritances)
A->B->C->D->Object
If C and D are not Serializable, the Serialization will take care of A and B only. C and D will need a default constructor.
But IMO C and D should be Serializable. I can't think of any good reason for them to not be Serializable.

> Components: metamodel
> Affects Versions: 3.2.6

> I am work with entitymode.MAP and Spring Web Flow. When SWF trying to serialize the Map Class, then you would get a java.io.InvalidClassException: no valid constructor. I created a no argument constructor AbstractLazyInitializer(), then i build hibernate with JDK 1.5 and this work fine for me in JDK 1.6.
