The aim is to get rid of the embedded jboss server for the test. This environment is not supported and creates amongst others problems with CP builds.
The embedded server is only used for testing the JMS clustering functionality. This functionality could be replaced with ActiveMQ - http://activemq.apache.org/how-to-unit-test-jms-code.html.
