Is this going to be address any time soon or should Hibernate users rebuild from SVN tag? for example, JTATransactionFactory in hibernate 3.3.1.GA JAR on JBOSS maven repo is completely different from what's in SVN:
http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/hibernate/core/tags/hibernate-3.3.1.GA/core/src/main/java/org/hibernate/transaction/JTATransactionFactory.java

The packaged version still requires JNDI. rebuilding and publishing updated JAR seems quite simple. I am happy to do so myself if Hibernate team is too busy - just send over login info :)
