Olivier, in your schema what is the pk of the middle table? Is it LEFT_ID or is it (LEFT_ID + RIGHT_ID)?

Max, for the moment, the NPE comes from Iterator properties = pc.getPropertyClosureIterator(); (pc being PersistentClass)
