Petr Bodnar commented on HBX-1035:
----------------------------------

I definitely agree with the suggestion - show at least some confirmation before executing the DDL. Or even better: Give the user the choice to only show the DDL without executing it (after clicking the 'Run SchemaExport' menu item).

I deleted my database tables by this menu item and because an error appeared during the export execution I even thought nothing happened until someone came to me and reported that data are missing in the tables.

> The 'Run SchemaExport' option that is accessible from the configuration context menu inside the Eclipse 'Hibernate Configurations' view does not give any feedback. Choosing this option, however, results in executing DDL on the database which erases all data inside the configured database. The schema export option could also be interpreted as a way to get the schema's SQL without executing the DDL. I would suggest to give more appropriate feedback before this operation is run.
