The HV reference guide should contain a short chapter on the meta-data API (BV spec chapter 5). Some explanatory examples should suffice, as this is covered very well in the spec. The post http://in.relation.to/Bloggers/BeanValidationRestrictingTheMetadataResults describes how to use the ConstraintFinder API, this could be included into the reference guide.
