Hi Vladimir,

Thanks for the fix and details. I did not get it on how to use your fix in attached files. Could you please tell me more details on how to use. Below are the steps on how I am using:

Bean Class: (Person)
     @Type(type="com.mycompany.hibernate.util.FixedBlobType")
     @Basic(fetch=FetchType.LAZY)
     private Blob file;

Action Class:
     person.setFile(Hibernate.createBlob(new FileInputStream(attachFile)));

Dao class:
session.merge(person);

Am I missing anything? It is still not working for me.
