What's currently hardcoded as org.hibernate.search.batchindexing.Executors.QUEUE_MAX_LENGTH might be nice to be configurable, especially as the async backend will block after filling it up (see HSEARCH-515).
The larger the better it will be able to handle load spikes but using more memory to store the scheduled work.
