AFAIK Hibernate does not officially support {{@Embeddable}} and {{@MappedSuperclass}} on the same class. If this works than it is more by chance than anything else.
The metamodel generated is correct. The error occurs when the metamodel gets generated for the second time. Maybe this could be changed.
