No, we have now deployments via a CI server. The CI server just runs a _clean install_. I just kept the archetype part in the wiki page, because it is still correct in case you just want to build it locally. It explains what this module is about, since it is a little _special_. As you say, for the release/deploy step it is not necessary anymore.
