EntityManager.lock(object, LockModeType.OPTIMISTIC_FORCE_INCREMENT) and EntityManager.lock(object, LockModeType.OPTIMISTIC) is still not working in Hibernate 3.5.5.

What is the current state of this issue? According to HHH-5032, there exists a releasable fix.
