I'm using a SortedMap<B,C> with an Entity as key. I use setFetchMode("map",FetchMode.JOIN) and setFetchMode("map.b",FetchMode.JOIN) in the criteria. When the query is executed, B#compareTo(B arg0) method is invoked repeatedly to build the resulting SortedMap. The problem is that all simple attributes of B are not initialized, so the compareTo fails.
