Hi Kyrill,
as mentioned per email, this is very unlikely to happen.
I won't immediately reject it, so that we can discuss it.. but we're talking here about backporting basically this pull request:
https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-search/pull/105

and making sure that all subsequent fixes are ported, etc, etc..

To be honest I guess my time is better spent finishing Hibernate Search 4.0, so that you can take advantage of this one and other improvements.

You could back-port it yourself.. but even so we could hardly call that 3.4.1, it's a very significant change in APIs.
