Hardy Ferentschik reassigned HHH-5681:
--------------------------------------
Assignee: Gail Badner (was: Hardy Ferentschik)
I cannot reproduce the problem on my machine. I built the distribution several times and never ended up with this pom file in _hibernate3.jar_. Might be a Maven, JDK problem (I am using maven 3.0.1). Assigning it to Gail. Something to watch out for when doing the next release.

> Because of this, the JAR file cannot be expanded unless the user has write access to the root directory.
> Or if this JAR is included in a signed applet or web start application, the application will fail to start.
> The offending files should be removed.
