Sanne Grinovero commented on HSEARCH-781:
-----------------------------------------

I posted an example for MySQL on the Infinispan forums:
http://community.jboss.org/message/561017#561017

But I totally agree, I should add some examples in Hibernate Search: please open a new issue for that. Also, assuming you're going to try this out from the infinispan forum message, would you like to contribute an example into the Hibernate Search docs and maybe blog about it?

> It would be great if there were a database backed Luncene Directory and DirectoryProvider. This would be roughly similar to what Compass provided with their JdbcDirectory class. Unfortunately due to Lucene API differences, it's not easy to drop the Compass JdbcDirectory into Hibernate Search.
