Another feature I think we want is the ability to specify "transformer parameters" per "format" if that is in any way possible.  The main reason for this is to avoid (if at all possible) the need to provide custom XSLT.  

One huge use case here is the need to specify the custom CSS to use for html-based outputs.  The CSS is the means used to define images to use for banners, backgrounds, etc; essentially all the project-specific customizations in terms of LnF.  It would utterly suck if ever project had to develop a custom XSLT just to redefine a single XSLT parameter.
