Gunnar Morling commented on HV-518:
-----------------------------------

Via

{code}
grep '@author ' -r -h --include="*.java" . | sort | uniq
{code}

I got the following list:

Alaa Nassef
Carlos Vara
Dag Hovland
Davide Marchignoli
Emmanuel Bernard
Federico Mancini
Gavin King
George Gastaldi
Gerhard Petracek
Gunnar Morling
Hardy Ferentschik
Henno Vermeulen
Kevin Pollet
Paolo Perrotta

The problem is that the names are not really "normalized" (typos, with or without e-mail etc.) so I had to remove some redundant entries. If we want to automate this we should clean up the @author tags. OTOH I don't think that automating this process is really worth the efforts as the author list doesn't change very often.

> Our default file header says:
> {quote}
> JBoss, Home of Professional Open Source
> Copyright 2011, Red Hat, Inc. and/or its affiliates, and individual contributors by the @authors tag. See the copyright.txt in the distribution for a full listing of individual contributors.

> As [pointed out|https://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1012576] in the forum the file copyright.txt doesn't seem to exist.
