I think removing the shading plug-in is a good thing, IMHO. As example for HV-551 the user cannot override the dependency version to fix the JType bug.

BTW, I really like the idea of limiting the dependencies for HV. This is simpler for users which cannot/don't use a dependency resolution mechanism. Here we might consider developing our own classes but I don't know the impact and the effort.

On the other hand these dependencies are provided in the distribution artifact.
