I am currently handling a technical upgrade and I am facing the same issue now that I have upgraded from wildfly-10.1.0.Final (providing Hibernate 5.0.10) to wildfly-19.0.0.Final (providing Hibernate 5.3.15).

Furthermore, everything works as expected on Hibernate 5.1
