Apparently an enhanced proxy is not initialized when loaded via a `PADDED` or `DYNAMIC` batch style.
Quarkus uses the `PADDED` style, while Hibernate ORM upstream by default is using `LEGACY`.

It seems we only tested Enhanced Proxies in combination with the ORM's default of LEGACY
