^ It's not a blocker for certification AFAIK.
I created that issue while playing around with a fix for 2LC eviction issues but worked around it. IOW, I decided to track down when region had been evicted (which results in cache.clear() calls), and if a PFER comes next, I switch it to a put() call. That seem to do the trick.
