Dave Marion commented on ISPN-863:
----------------------------------
@Manik, I have not done anything since January. I did talk to Vladimir about my implementation, but things picked up at work and I have not had time to modify my implementation according to Vladimir's suggestions. I imagine that the codebase has changed dramatically by now and I would have to start over. Things are still busy at work and I don't anticipate them settling back down until the fall. Up to you if you want to close this issue.
BTW, I hope to test 5.0.0 when it comes out for the JGroups FLUSH fixes. I will be trying again to get a cache up and running at a large size; we ran into issues with the workarounds in 4.2.1.

> Issue Type: Enhancement
> Components: Eviction

> Allow user to specify percentage threshold upon which eviction will kick in and begin evicting entries based on the specified strategy. This would allow user to create a cache that will attempt to keep as many entries in memory as possible without having to specify maxEntries.
