Alan Field commented on ISPN-4372:
----------------------------------

OK, I have a Jenkins job setup to run Infinispan 6 and 7 using the {{WordCountMapper}}, but Infinispan 6 has to be run with 100 unique words or it will OOM.

I understand that the performance tests are using a specific Map/Reduce scenario, so it should not be extrapolated to every M/R scenarios. However, I also think it is valid to compare the performance of different versions of Infinispan using the same data and Map/Reduce scenario.

> Performance testing the Map/Reduce changes has shown that the performance improvements vary based on the size of the values in the cache. [1] Using values from 8kB to 128kB shows a large performance increase over Infinispan 6, but smaller and larger values are the same or slower than Infinispan 6.
