The main obstacle for that are (as most of the times) the modules. Hibernate Search (as of 5.6.0.Alpha1) module zip ships and hardcodes Lucene 5.4.1 and slot 5.4. Infinispan module zip ship its own Lucene, but also distributes the hibernate search module.
