Looking at the [Spring Boot sample cache example|https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-boot/blob/master/spring-boot-samples/spring-boot-sample-cache/README.adoc], I realised that there's the possibility to add metrics for our caches, and we're not currently exposing those.

The available cache metrics are defined [here|https://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/current/reference/html/production-ready-metrics.html].
