I haven't looked at this in depth, but as Pedro mentioned above, this is probably due to change to write skew being enabled by default by OL in CR4.

I thought over this while travelling, and the only (far fetched) situation I could maybe see OL making sense in the current state was if you had, somehow, embedded and HR compatibility mode working, and you wanted to do OL transactions with embedded in the same cache that HR accesses. Very far fetched though.
