For us the check in https://github.com/infinispan/infinispan/blob/77c21296f4a393251e0b16d017e054edd99319a8/server/rest/src/main/java/org/infinispan/rest/operations/CacheOperations.java#L187 does not satisfy the if statement and as a result, the entry is not deleted.
