For generating a new project using archetype as described [in the docs|http://infinispan.org/docs/stable/getting_started/getting_started.html#starting_a_new_project]

Since maven 3.0.0 it is no longer possible to specify the repository via command line, instead it should be added in settings.xml as illustrated [in maven docs|https://maven.apache.org/archetype/maven-archetype-plugin/archetype-repository.html]
