    Description: EncoderCache operations such as merge, compute, and every other that rely on Functional Commands end up losing the DataConversion, since it uses the CacheImpl's DataConversion instead of the EncoderCache's DataConversion  (was: Encoder cache operations such as merge, compute, and every other that rely upon Functional Command end up looking DataConversion, since it uses the CacheImpl.
