Within jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer.zip download there is a sample directory that gives a simple "evaluation" example. If you are looking for more of a walkthrough, I would recommend jBPM 5 Developer Guide (http://www.packtpub.com/jboss-business-process-management-5-jave-developer-guide/book) by Mauricio Salatino and Esteban Aliverti.
