Then just double-click on the file. Ubuntu should show you a popup asking you whether you want to run or open the file. Select run > or let me know which jdk I should use? Both are supposed to work. If you're on a 64-bit machine, a 64-bit JRE is recommended. So I would simply advise to try both and keep the best one. In case both are working equally, keeping OpenJDK 7 for 64 bits. Lately, Ubuntu hasn't been a very good integrator for Eclipse and some other Java technologies. Maybe you should consider using Fedora instead.
