No. But it can implement KernelControllerContextAware
from which you can do context -> controller -> kernel

This is more like the MBeanRegistration 
e.g. implemented by ServiceMBeanSupport.

Although there are plans to generalize this "experimental" interface,
it should still provide the same functionality:
