last week i have been juggling with manifest files and Class-Path entries to get libraries deployed correctly in .ear files.

friday, jeff mentioned to me that these libraries referenced in the Class-Path entries also can be referenced in the application.xml

i just checked the spec and i see a java module type.  but this is for application clients.  maybe it works, but it seems like a hack to me.  as far as i can see now, juggling with Class-Path entries is the only standard way to add common libraries to .ear files.

thougths anyone ?
