For now I have worked around this by adding a check to the org.jboss.xb.binding.sunday.unmarshalling.ElementBinding.pushInterceptor for a pre-existing interceptor. The current jboss-xml-binding.jar snapshot has this change, and with this the JMXDecoratedTestCase is passing.
