[jboss-dev-forums] [Design of JBoss jBPM] - Install not working

I am new to the JAVA but not OO from original C++ days but have been out of touch. Getting ready to retire and was looking at jBPM as something to keep me busy.
I downloaded and unzipped the starters kit. I was able to run the demo in the getting started tutorial. I then tried to create a process. The difference from the tutorial was that I had downloaded eclipse previously and installed all the JBOSS plugins including the designer. 
While everything seems to work as advertised the designer plugin will not appear as per the tutorial page 21. I am to say the least a bit overwhelmed and any help in figuring this out would be appreciated.
