To set up just look at current tests.

In each module build.xml file there are two targets: 'package-tests' and 'tests'. Serveral modules requires to deploy special agent on the server first - this is done with ant in 'testsuite' module as described in wiki. Some of identity module tests require running ldap server - 'deploy-ldap' target in ant
