By defining a different leaseTime property, I thought that would determine a new ClientINvoker instance on the LocatorRegistry, as the locator will check for Locators properties.

Have you changed the behavior for these properties, or you're talking about a different usage scenario? (Like changing the LeasePeriod after ClientInvoker is connected/created)
