For OSGi based listeners we need asynchronous triggering of listeners.
What's the best way to add this behavior to existing MC KernelEventEmitter?

We would probably need some thread pool integration and marker interface for asynch listeners.

I can go fwd and extend current 'delegating' KernelEventEmitter, when used by OSGi it will have asynch capability.
