+1.  I think we've got a pretty good API now, which is what 2.0.0 is all about, but this is the one weak area. It would be nice to get it right in this area too.

I actually don't think the Option API is a border case either.  Every usage of JBC I've written, I use an Option at some point.  I don't think my usages are that exotic.
