Wonder would it be an idea to contribute this plugin to the mojo project.

In fact, there's already a "jboss-packaging-maven-plugin" plugin up there.  It supports packaging of a sar through it's "jboss-packaging:sar" goal.  Perhaps we could contribute this to that plugin at some point, adding a "jboss-packaging:esb" goal :-)
